The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was launched in July 2013, following years of conversations about the need for a serious reform of disability services in Australia. Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Individuals and their careers will have access to the help they need so they can participate in a life filled with community and employment opportunities.

As a NDIS Provider, we Assist you to live the way you choose by understanding the NDIS process:

1 Check you Eligibility:

Complete the access checklist on the NDIS Website https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/am-i-eligible

2 Think about your life:

Identify your strength, interests, challenges. Think about your short- and long-term goals and what you like to achieve. Try to be specific about what you need, what you want and how you want to live.

3 Create your NDIS plan:

Collect any previous assessments and reports you like to provide the NDIS is made available for you. Learn the Language and review the NDIS glossary https://www.ndis.gov.au/about-us/publications. Try to gather as much information as you can in advance. Your plan won’t be developed without YOU. An NDIS representative will talk you through it, We can accompany you to your NDIS planning meeting, in an advocacy capacity. Once your plan is developed, you can manage it yourself or get assistance by a certified provider as CEADA.

4 Choose your service provider:

In choosing a support provider consider the following criteria: local? Flexibility? Skills and experience? Price? evidence of quality of the support provided? Please remember that when your needs change, your plan can change too.
